The Iraq War continues with the US Defense Dept boasting/bragging/claiming/stating:

Airstrikes in Iraq

Coalition forces, using rocket artillery and fighter, attack, and remotely piloted aircraft, conducted 20 airstrikes in Iraq, coordinated with and in support of the Iraqi government:

-- Near Baghdadi, three strikes struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed four ISIL supply caches, an ISIL mortar system, 16 ISIL rocket rails, an ISIL weapons cache, and an ISIL vehicle.

-- Near Habbaniyah, a strike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL fighting position.

-- Near Hit, two strikes struck an ISIL weapons production facility and destroyed an ISIL vehicle.

-- Near Mosul, 10 strikes struck an ISIL tactical unit, an ISIL logistical facility, an ISIL fuel storage location, an ISIL mortar booster factory, an ISIL explosive factory, and an ISIL vehicle bomb factory; suppressed an ISIL mortar position and an ISIL heavy machine gun position; and destroyed nine ISIL assembly areas, an ISIL fighting position and two ISIL command and control nodes.

-- Near Qayyarah, two strikes destroyed an ISIL vehicle and an ISIL assembly area.

-- Near Ramadi, a strike destroyed an ISIL vehicle and two ISIL fighting positions.

-- Near Sinjar, a strike destroyed two ISIL fighting positions and suppressed an ISIL rocket position.

Is Barack Obama ever going to face the American people and explain why, 18 months later, the US is still bombing Iraq daily and nothing has been accomplished?

Nothing positive.

This is probably why the US government supports the government of Turkey bombing northern Iraq. Even puppet Haider al-Abadi objects to this.

But the US is all on board with it.

Those bombings hit farmers and destroy villages.

When Iraq is finally free of other countries bombing it, what's going to be left?

They're in an economic crisis now? Imagine when they have to rebuild everything the daily bombs have destroyed -- or what can be rebuilt.

Clearly, you can rebuild dead people.

That's a loss that we're not supposed to notice or comment on.

From reality to propagnada, REUTERS has a 'report' by Maher Chmaytelli.

I can't decide whether Chmyatelli is an idiot or on the US payroll.

REUTERS did have a reporter on the US payroll not all that long ago.

We called her out here and wondered publicy how the 'reporter' ended up at REUTERS to begin with.

And why it took so long to phase the 'reporter' out?

So do I now have to again do the research to determine whether Chmaytelli is just stupid or paid off?

It's fine, it creates work (for the private investigator I use) and helps the economy, I guess.

But this nonsense really needs to stop at REUTERS.

Chmaytelli wants to insist that Haider al-Abadi is holding Iran at bay.

Why, he told the Qud Forces leader that they couldn't participate in Ramadi.

Is that really news?

Because, as we noted yesterday, Haider appeared before Parliament on Saturday and announced that the Shi'ite militias (many of whom have links to the government of Iran) will take part in the liberation or 'liberation' of Mosul.

Now it's true that Chmaytelli could be buttering Haider up.

That's why journalists are seen as such whores.

They're always buttering people up.

To trick them, to get the report they want, whatever.

Or maybe Chmaytelli is stupid.

Or maybe Chmaytelli is on the US payroll.

Any of the three are possible.

The known here is that REUTERS has published a ridiculous and fact-free article.
