IRAQ REPORTS: DEC 7, 2012


A senior officer of the government forces, who was wounded a couple of days ago by an explosive device in his car, died by the wounds sustained in Baghdad.
A mortar shell hit a house in the north of Babil province, wounding seven people of its family.
 A car bomb exploded in the north of Baghdad near a headquarters of the government forces – the damage and casualties are not known. One of the Awakening forces was killed in an armed attack on his house in the south of Baghdad.
A roadside bomb went off beneath a government army patrol in the north of Diyala province, killing one of the patrol's soldiers and severely wounding another. Fighters opened fire on a car of the governmental police in the south of Mosul, killing one of the elements inside and severely wounding two others.
