A race against time for millions of children in need of urgent support in Yemen

9.4 million Children in Yemen require urgent assistance. The ongoing war which escalated in March has paralyzed much needed basic services as fuel, water and food resources run out. Water and garbage is accumulating on the streets and sewage is overflowing. Yemeni children now face a greater combined risk of conflict, malnutrition, disease and chronic poverty. Despite the insecurity, UNICEF is on the ground, ensuring that children get health care, nutrition, and water and sanitation support.
