On the above, so Iraq, Barack Obama feels, is in a political quagmire.

And the Iraqi government needs to show progress before it can receive more Iraq money.

Yet at the start of this week, it was announced that they would be receiving more US troops -- who would be in combat.

So the President of the United States announces to the world that Iraq will need to demonstrate political progress before getting more US dollars?

But human life?

In the form of US troops?

No big deal, he's sending that.
