January 21, 2013 HEBRON (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces on Monday morning demolished sheds and a water well used for irrigation in a Palestinian village in the southern West Bank. Local farmers told Ma’an that large numbers of Israeli troops escorted bulldozers to al-Deirat village, south of Hebron. Last week, Israeli forces demolished four sheds in the same area, they said. Israeli authorities say Palestinian villages under Israeli military control in the West Bank must apply for permits to build, frequently demolishing new structures. Human rights advocates say it is almost impossible for Palestinians to secure permits. Source
