Targeting Iraq's intellectuals is still going on.

President of Diyala University Abbas Fadhil al-Dulaimi has been killed

Istiklal News Agency, Jan 10/2013.
President of Diyala University Dr Abbas Fadhil al-Dulaimi has been killed when targeted by a landmine near an intersection of roads and bridges, in Bakoabah, Diyalah on Thursday Jan 13, 20013. The explosion have also killed and wounded five of his security and body guards.
As we can see targeting Iraq's intellectuals is still going on, specifically in Diyalah. The situation is getting more violent in this city because Diyalah is a border city with Iran. The Passeige( Iranian security intelligence) is helping Maliki’s government to control this Arabic anti occupation city.  As we all noticed heavy security and army forces are all over the city. Surrounding and attacking any protests site in Diyalah. Universities in Iraq are under attack because they can’t control the students and stop them from joining the demonstrations the country is witnessing past few weeks.
