The human rights situation in Iraq in light of abuses committed by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant and associated groups
Please see the attached note verbale in relation to the convening of a special session of the Human Rights Council on "the human rights situation in Iraq in light of abuses committed by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant and associated groups".
The President shall hold an open-ended informative consultation before the special session on its conduct and organization at 11 a.m. onFriday 29 August in Room XX at the Palais des Nations.
NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC wishing to submit written statements for the Special Session are invited to contacthrcngo@ohchr.org for submission guidelines
