AMS Calls on Human Rights Organizations to Stop Ongoing Unjust Arrests

The sixth occupation government bears direct responsibility for the continuation of those arbitrary arrests
The Association of Muslim Scholars renewed its call on the international organizations concerned with human rights, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Arab League, to intervene hard and fast to stop the non-stop arbitrary arrests and flagrant violations against innocent Iraqis .
The Association emphasized in a new statement that the Human Rights Section monitored (130) declared crackdown by government agencies across 15 provinces over the past month resulted in the arrest of (1630) citizen, including one woman, in addition to (78) murder case accompanied these unjust campaigns.
At the end of the statement, the Association of Muslim Scholars said that the sixth occupation government bears direct responsibility for the continuation of those arbitrary arrests that have turned Iraq into a big prison where the most heinous crimes have been committed in the name of the alleged freedom and false democracy, and the Association demanded to release all innocent detainees as soon as possible.
