Summary of News on Thursday, 25 Oct Gunmen attacked a home in the west of Baghdad with silenced weapons, killing one of the family members and severely injuring two more. An explosive device blew up inside a civilian's car in central Baghdad, injuring him.   A motorcycle bomb targeted a passing governmental police patrol in the southwest of Kirkuk, injuring at least four of them. An explosive device went off by as one of the governmental police passed by in the south of Mosul, severely injuring him.   And in central Mosul, another explosive device blew up beneath a passing patrol of the government army, killing and wounding two of them.   The director of the governmental police of Al-Qayyarah in Ninawa province was exposed to an assassination attempt as two explosive devices went off beneath his motorcade on the highway in the south of Mosul.   The house of one of the governmental police in the north of Hillah was targeted by an explosive device that damaged the home without causing casualties. Another one of the governmental police was hit injured after being by a truck (supposedly unintentionally) in the north of Hillah.     HEYET Net
