"IRAQI" ALLIANCE: SECTARIAN MILITIAS' CRIMES AIM TO DEMOGRAPHIC CHANGES
The coalition in a statement published today called on the other alliances which participate in the current political process, the Shiite religious authority and the international community to a serious intervention and pressure on the government (Haider Abadi) for the implementation of the political agreement which resulted in the formation of this government, without clarifying about the nature of this agreement.
Press reports quoted the statement: "The national partnership and peaceful coexistence in Iraq have become in danger, and that the future will be doomed to apprehension" .. blaming the current government the responsibility for the continuation of the deteriorating situation and warned it of negligence to address.
Reports indicated that this statement comes amid escalating kidnappings and assassinations, brutal crimes against the local residents of Sunni areas carried out by sectarian militias backed by the government agencies, also comes just one day after the issuance of the so-called Central Criminal Court the decision to execute the former MP (Ahmed al-Alwani) .
