HUMAN RIGHTS SECTION: ARREST OF 1473 IRAQIS IN NOVEMBER



Only in November, arrest of 1473 Iraqi citizen,including three women according to Human Rights Section at the Association of Muslim Scholars.
These arrests were made during 105 declared campaigns by government forces as well as killing of 86 civilian during these raids and searches.
Capital, Baghdad was most affected by those arbitrary arrests; with 302 detained civilians, most of the detainees were captured haphazardly.
Post-invasion Iraq became a big prison where most heinous crimes committed in the name of alleged freedom and false democracy imposed by U.S.
AMS calls on international human rights organizations, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League to intervene to stop these abuses and unmask the perpetrators.
