Lead From Within: Lead People To Believe In Themselves

Dear khaled algafri

This week a client shared with me a quote, and I would like to share it with you.

'Success isn't owned. It's leased. And rent is due every day.' Every single day, someone's coming for your job. Someone's coming for your greatness. If you're the greatest, someone wants to be the greatest, and so if you're not constantly improving your game, somebody else is. And somebody wants to take your spot. So the way I attack it, every single day is like a game. Every single practice rep I treat like a game rep. I get pissed if I get blocked ... Some people chase money. Some people chase fame. Some chase greatness. And that's what I'm trying to do."

-J.J. Watt (Watt is an American football defensive end for the Houston Texans of the National Football League)

As for me, I am chasing meaning and serving others!

What are you chasing?

Enjoy!

The workplace is changing, but not fast enough: Women are still overlooked for leadership positions at senior levels, still not getting the positions they deserve.

There are many reasons why this inequity happens. We can't change them all--at least not overnight--but we can make sure we're not contributing to the problem.
