At least 39 dead and 24 wounded from the government army and the so-called Popular Mobilization militia by the explosion of a truck bomb was driven by a person detonated after storming a joint checkpoint of the government army and those militia in the area (Mkeshifah) located between Samarra and Tikrit, and a mortar attack Wednesday south of the city of Tikrit, Salahuddin province.
