The killing of 16 members of the government's border guards forces, including a captain, and four others wounded, in an attack by gunmen targeted their headquarters on Monday near al-Waleed border crossing on the Iraqi-Syrian border, far west of Anbar.

Five civilians were killed and nine others were wounded; by the continued government shelling of Fallujah, on Sunday evening, according to a local medical source.

Five civilians were injured in a blast in Tuz Khurmatu, east of Tikrit, Salahuddin province.

Three civilians were killed and seven others were injured as a result of a mortar attack on the (Balad) south of the city of Tikrit.

Three members of the so-called Popular Mobilization were killed as a result of armed clashes on Monday afternoon in the southern villages to (Qara Tappah) north of the city of Baquba, Diyala province.

At least five people were killed and 25 wounded, as a result of three simultaneous explosions occurred Monday evening in areas NAHRAWAN and Ur neighborhood and Baya of Baghdad.
