In a new statement, the Association of Muslim Scholars considered that the terror crimes committed by the government army and militias of the so-called Popular Mobilization against a wide sector of Iraqis in numerous provinces, as an organized genocide never seen in history.

The Association said: As it used to destruct and practice sectarian murder, the government army forces and militias of the so-called Popular Mobilization have committed horrible crimes during take over the towns of (Jalawla and Saadia) in Diyala province and (Baiji) in Salahuddin province .. Confirming that those rabid forces pursued a scorched-earth policy, destroying and burning mosques, theft shops, demolition of houses and land leveling.

The statement said that the number of mosques that have been completely or partially destroyed or burned amounted to (20) mosque, which are: seven mosques in Jalawla, six in Saadia, and seven others in Baiji.

At the end of the statement, the Association of Muslim Scholars, blamed the current government and the miserable political process full responsibility for these crimes, which Wendy affront to humanity .. stressing that the Arabic, regional and international silence toward these abhorrent crimes contributes to escalate them and spur the perpetrators.
