Subject: The Bombing of the Syrian Aircraft on Al-Qa’im and Ar-Rutba Towns, and Al-Waleed Crossing Frontier
Today, June, 24th, 2014, in hydrophobic violence the Syrian regime committed a crime against people in Al-Qa’im before noon. The Syrian aircraft bombed two buildings in the area, which caused the death of 17 people, other 37 people got injured, among them were children and women. The bombing caused severe damages for the possessions of the civilians. The aircrafts bombed the petrol station and the local market which is crowded with people in Ar-Rutba in Al-Anbar, the aggression killed and injured tens of civilians, filling up the city hospital. Many of them were unidentified as the bodies were burnt because of the bombing. After that, the aircraft started a third aggression when targeting the buildings of Al-Waleed Crossing Frontier, which destroyed a part of its buildings.
The Association of Muslim Scholars deplores these abominable crimes, and blatant attacks, and reminds the Syrian regime that heroism is not granted by bombing unarmed, helpless civilians to support an oppressive ruler, while he is ignoring the west borders of his country being targeted by the Zionist Entity. He only described the aggression as a “blatant aggression”, without using his usual phrase in his previous statements that he “retains the right to respond in the suitable place and time”.
The Association also demands that the international community should monitor these violations and deplore them, forcing the Syrian regime to stop them, because Iraq and its people have enough hardship.
May the souls of the victims rest in peace, and may God cure the injured, and spare the Iraqi people from the wickedness of the evil and the cunning conspirators… Amen…
